Gina Cross Projects is a London based contemporary studio collaborating with a select pool of artists to curate and collectively show their work at fairs and shows.
Established by artist and curator Gina Cross who trained in print design & textiles at art college before working for a decade as an art buyer and agent, commissioning artists, designers and illustrators. She is also a regular visiting lecturer to art colleges across the UK since 2003.
In 2009 she began actively representing and mentoring artists, showing at UK and International art fairs. Since 2021 she has returned to her own creative practice under the name of Studio Cross, focusing on her own artwork to show at fairs and exhibitions with the other artists. The curatorial focus of GCP is on the language of abstraction, working alongside artists whose practice examines colour, light, composition, process and form whatever their chosen medium might be. This crosses over to include painting, print, sculpture, photography and drawing.
Gina is an experienced creative with a great eye for beautiful art, with years of working closely with artists and designers to commission exclusive work. This personal approach means she partners with artists who have a deep understanding of draftsmanship, colour, process and visual narrative, who produce pieces to a consistently high creative and technical standard.
Gina's extensive experience enables her to be a unique mentor to artists, helping them develop their collections to showcase in alternative ways and help them find the right representation beyond the scope of GCP.
